Not to be confused with Vatican News, or the Vatican's website with papal messages and speeches.

The Governorate of the Vatican City State has launched a new app, and it is dedicated to St. Carlo Acutis.

The app offers the info from the website www.vaticanstate.va. This site shouldn't be confused with Vatican News or vatican.va -- the latter has the texts of the popes' messages and audiences.

The governorate is led by Sister Raffaella Petrini, who is also President of the Pontifical Commission for Vatican City State, since March 1, 2025.

Features

As noted by Vatican News, the application includes various sections: the saint of the day, news, interviews, videos, and links connecting to other institutions of the Governorate: CFN, Vatican Museums, Vatican Pharmacy, Vatican Post, Pontifical Villas, Vatican Observatory.

Other features will be implemented in the future.

The new app is now available for free download.
