Chris Pratt has recently caused disapproval with his fans in a light-hearted post outlining what he "can't do without" in life.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star's list included some pretty indispensable items that nobody could really dispute, to be fair: oxygen and blood, being some of those fundamentals -- although the dad of four was quick to point out that the blood needed to be his.
This was followed by a very dubious order of items, placing NFL above his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, and his offspring. His "glam team" finished off the list -- quite rightly at the very end.
The list was meant to be a fun post -- as Pratt had to point out in a follow up comment to reassure those who were more than incredulous and believed he hadn't quite got his priorities in order.
Yet it was interesting to see the number of people who questioned the placement of the star's family in this interesting list!
In fact, his wife took to Instagram to share her thoughts on where she and her kids landed on the list: "Can’t wait for all the things you’re going to have to do to make up for the order of this list!"
The little quip elicited great support from a number of Pratt's followers, and perhaps the NFL might have to shift down the list!
Jesus at the top
Then came items that the non-faithful could start to argue against: Jesus being one of them. As you can see in the comments, one instagrammer commented: "I'm very proud of you, Chris. I'm very happy for you, God has blessed you so much!! 🙏🏻❤️.
Another stated: "Jesus at the top 🙏✝️🙏." A further fan pointed out: "Well you could just say Jesus and leave it at that cause through him all things were made, so that covers the rest of that list."
The latter comment then led to a rather heated debate about Jesus' very existence, with some trying hard to persuade others that life is just a question of science, while others weighed in using Scripture, such as Colossians 1:15-17.
It's incredible that the supposedly fun post created such discord -- albeit lighthearted for the most part. But it might make people question what they can't live without? And it would be interesting to see where faith plays a part!
