What is Aleteia?

Aleteia is a direct response to Benedict XVI’s appeal to evangelize the Digital Age. Aleteia gathers together lay Catholics, journalists, New Media professionals and volunteers who are passionate about addressing the most pressing questions of our day on faith and life. Aleteia cooperates closely with the Pontifical Council for Social Communications and the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization, and is supported by the Foundation for the Evangelization through the Media.
